Bekal offers mixed climate and most of the year the climate
is temperate. During summers (March to May), its hot and the temperature
reaches at peak of 36 °C. In monsoons (June to September), the region
experiences heavy rainfalls with a high humidity of nearly 90%. Winters
(December to February) are dry with moderate and cool climate. It is
best to visit Bekal during October to March.
Bekal Fort

Fort is one major attraction in Kerala. With more than 40 acres of
extensions, tourists are sure to admire the tanks holding a flight steps
and the tunnel entrancing towards the south, which are the main

Bekal Fort Beach

Located 23 km south of Kanjhangad is the beautiful Hosdurg

Malik Deena Mosque
The historical Malik Deena Mosque is located in the

Nileswaram is located 12 km from Bekal and is the cultural
centre of the district. The palace operating as a legendry traditional

Nityanandashram in Hosdurg which attract quite a number of
